RACECOURSE ENTRY
From Stratford Town Centre
Racing public, annual members and bookmakers
– It is advisable to gain entry via the Paddock Lane entrance. This will avoid the main entrance traffic lights and gives a better exit route at the end of racing.
Officials, Jockeys, Owners/ Trainers and Horseboxes
– Use the main entrance. You may use the paddock lane if preferred however this must NOT be used by horseboxes.
From Evesham ( coming down the hill )
– There is an alternative route located about 2 miles from the course entrance. This route is slightly longer but avoids the roadworks totally. It is not signposted by us but can be found on a map or via your SAT NAV.
RACECOURSE EXIT
– All centre course and paddock lane traffic to leave via the paddock lane.
– All main entrance cars to leave via the main entrance.
Picnics, food and beverages are only permitted to be brought into the Centre Course enclosure. There is a bar serving a wide range of drinks and also a refreshments facility.

An annual badge is excellent value at Stratford, giving discounted admission to all our 17 fixtures as well as some 40 reciprocal fixtures at other racecourses up and down the land, including all of Leicester’s jump meetings. Please visit the Annual badge holders page.

Gates usually open two hours prior to the first race to give you time to get your bearings, read the racecard, have a drink and relax before the excitement starts. Even on a quiet day’s racing traffic around the area and onsite can build up so it is best to arrive in plenty of time.
Limited seating is available in all enclosures and in most bar areas.
In the event of racing being abandoned before the first race has been run, NO refunds will be made on the day, but racegoers should retain all badges/tickets & return theses by post the racecourse for a refund (or replacement badges for another meeting if preferred). Once the first race has been run, there will be no refunds.
There is not a cash machine on site, but there is a cashback facility.
